Quite possibly no one cares at all about Jake Paul, but this is one of the most laughable statements Iâve ever seen. Is he a Republican? If so, this could have gone in the Darndest Things thread. (Given the money he earned from the actual fight, why would boxing fans criticize him for fighting a 58-year old Tyson anyway, even if it figured to be a mismatch? I could see boxing orgs being criticized for sanctioning the fight.)
You obviously didnât see his post fight interview. He was gushing about ⌠I donât remember how he phrased it, but he was obviously thrilled with the election results. So yes, âRepublicans say the darnedest thingsâ thread would be a perfectly cromulent place to put that.
(I believe Tyson also supported Trump.)
No, nor did I see any of the fight. (Only pay for view? but I wouldnât have watched regardless) Still, I wouldnât put this in that thread because I donât see any real connection between his stupidity and his support for Trump.
It was (still is?) on Netflix . If youâre a fan of boxing you may enjoy some of the undercard fights. The main event was a nothingburger with extra nothing.
Thanks for the response, but no thanks for providing anything I would want to want.
Naw, it was on Netflix. I would not have paid for it, but BF has Netflix, so there was no incremental cost.
are under cards on Netflix ( i know they were live, i mean what is currently there)?
is he a specific person, or just a general human commentary?
He goes fishing around the world to find interesting species. Iâve seen some of his shows on NatGeo.
ETA: Show is called River Monsters, hosted by Jeremy Wade.
I guess I mean, is he a bad guy, or just a poor unfortunate used to represent the human race
Since it says âspeciesâ, I assume an unfortunate. I didnât recognize him.
Are they referring to the fish or the man?
From the spoiler, absolutely man as the most dangerous species
