That was my wife’s theory, until we had a sliding glass door out to a deck from our bedroom. So sleep next to the glass door directly exposed to the outdoors or closer to the bedroom door where an intruder would have to come through the entire house before getting to our room? The doors were on opposite walls.
Closer to the bathroom is definitely why I’m where I am (farther from said bathroom). I imagine being first stop for any kids is an added bonus.
