What, your turkeys don’t grow that big? While I usually only see up to about 24lbs ones in the stores, they do come bigger than that.
Large turkeys raised for institutional consumption reach 27 to 30 weeks of age and weigh more than 45 pounds alive. These turkeys yield about 30 pounds of ready-to-cook meat.

I went to Thanksgiving in Germany at my BIL’s one year. Getting a whole turkey is a little more of a specialty item there, so in-laws agreed to raise a turkey at their hobby farm. Apparently it created havoc there and the chickens hated it. It was a monster. I don’t remember the weight, but I do remember that a leg needed to get hacked off for the beast to fit in the oven.
