That is disturbing but I suppose true. I wonder if it scales though. If there’s just a cutoff thumb in a smaller pool, would I swim in it?
I think the key is that we don’t know/can’t see the corpse:water ratio.
Yeah, I’m guessing the corpse:water ratio is so small in any ocean that it isn’t really comparable to any other corpse:water ratio anywhere else you could possibly swim.
I don’t know what kind of pools you swim in, but the ones I swim in have a lower corpse:water ratio than the ocean. Well (human corpse):water ratio at least.
Yeah, I meant any time there was a corpse:water ratio > 0 the ocean’s ratio is going to be < this other body of water you may want to swim in.
