I’m pretty close to ambidextrous, put items in both pockets. And this is STILL true.
It’s rare that any of our doors are locked, so I usually wouldn’t have that problem.
Interestingly, I use my dominant hand to unlock and open the door so I use the other hand to carry most anything i have to carry (unless I’m using both hands to carry, fewer trips). I also use my dominant hand to use my phone which goes in the pocket on that side which means the keys go in the pocket on the other side.
