OK I get it now. I didn’t make that connection, and I have actually seen Papa Roach in concert.
My wife’s maiden name is Roach. When I saw there was a band called Papa Roach, I started calling her dad that. Either nobody got it or they didn’t think it was all that funny (or both) but it didn’t last long. I never listened to their music so I really needed the sock puppets for that one.
How in the world did we get 2 Papa Roach memes in one day in 2022? That’s quite obscure unless you’re about my age (42).
