come to think of it, there are significant company cultural differences too, so different companies have different norms, but I didn’t mean those, and they would only come up between coworkers if someone switched companies and was still used to the other one’s norms

Maybe next time I’ll add an option “I disagree with the premise” :slight_smile:

Or maybe “No and WTH are you talking about, there is no such thing” would fit better…

I used to work in Cambridge, MA and drove from Stow, MA, which at the time was the first town beyond the suburbs - so rural. The commute was interesting, because it started where everyone was driving ultra-ultra-polite, then gradually changed to very aggressive driving. Your style definitely had to change greatly along the way to avoid problems.

good example, but according to the IRS, your commute doesn’t count as work, so per IRS this wouldn’t count for the purposes of the survey :stuck_out_tongue:
