I’m shutting down work shortly. 3 more calls then that’s it. Gotta get the boat ready and truck packed, head to Timmins area fishing for four days.
And taking three students, two who are absolutely awesome people, and the third guy I don’t remember.

I think they’re different. You folks maybe have some labor related stuff going on, like parades? I’m Canada there’s nothing like that. No celebration, it’s just the last weekend of the summer.
Try to remember to bring him back home!

I am giving today and tomorrow, but up the coast for wine tasting Saturday morning, nice dinner at a fancy joint in Buellton, home Sunday, then watching a cover band in the local park (drinking allowed!) on Monday to end the summer band series.
4 day weekend coming. And I SERIOUSLY DNGAF today.

While my company has expanded other 3-day weekends to 4-day, this weekend isn’t one of them. And I’m not dipping in to my PTO. I would if I were going somewhere distant.

My boss gives me a free half day off the day before a holiday, but you have to work that day to get it. So I rarely take off the day before a holiday, especially now that WFH is so accessible.

Ugh, board meeting is coming up, tomorrow is a disaster. Someone (no idea) gave our CEO some very pessimistic revenue numbers using really crude assumptions and I’ve been charged with fixing that ASAP. So I’ve got meetings all the way to 4:30PM.

I’m starting an on-line beginner to advanced Excel course on Udemy. GAFness will be about a 2-3.

is it an advanced topics webinar?
It runs 20 hours and starts with basic stuff all the way to macros.
I’m definitely not a beginner, but I’d like to get a better grounding in the functionality.
