here! a handful+ of days off coming too.
Fridays are always insane here. Except today. No clients. No pressing work. Marketing person on holidays. If it was sunny I’d probably take the day off.
So I’m starting to spec out a new client management system. What we have is pretty much a secret weapon, but it’s not enough. Gonna clear the decks and rebuild from scratch, get everything done properly so that our workflow is completely optimized and I have all the data and reports at my fingertips.
Everyone who’s seen what we have wants it. Of course, nobody willing to pay lol. I’ve a buddy who uses my previous iteration of this software and wants to upgrade. I offer to let him pay half the dev costs. Nope, too much money. Ok, I’ll develop it and we will discuss prices afterwards then?
Had a busy morning, but I’m well positioned to coast for the rest of the day.
Light day today. Gonna give f’s rather than F’s.

early release day (2 hours) for contributing to the scholarship fund. Gonna shop for what I need to cook dinner for Jaspess and her mom.

I cleared out the office yesterday but technically have 12 hours of work until next Friday, all of which I will do from home.
I’m giving a few F’s today; more than in recent Fridays: walking my boss thru the more important spreadsheets I have developed and some finishing touches on a relatively trivial California filing, if such a thing can be said to exist.
Next week I’ll create some documentation, monitor work emails, show up for a Friday lunch, and disappear…

Working remote today through next Wednesday, so not giving any Fs for the foreseeable future.
Plenty of work to do, but I’ll handle it on my own schedule.

Currently in Vegas, waiting for a seat in the poker room at Aria.
DNGAF about work. Had some gelato, which was a paasable substitute for alcohol.
Need the seat before about 11pm local.

Nah, quick turnaround.
Strip was a madhouse. Took us over an hour to get out of the Cosmopolitan parking lot after a concert.
The rake was great, though.
Tomorrow is Good Friday. On the agenda: prepping Easter basket and some light housekeeping.

End of spring break for my kids, but it’s Cesar Chavez day so I get the day off. Going for a bike ride before it starts raining
Working all day and will attend service tonight. My Saturday just got cleared tho, so I will do Easter prep then. No baskets except the one in the entry way.
Kids in their 20’s and quit doing an Easter treat a few years ago. My eldest took it upon herself to add candy to my basket (there wasn’t much) and get hubby & me chocolate bunnies.
