So I was curious about OldTimer’s solution to the first puzzle (73) and I notice that if you do an operation on two numbers that do not appear in the equation that ultimately gives you the solution, then that operation erroneously (IMHO) still appears in the shareable, postable result report. In this case, I did not use the 4 and 2 in my solution, but during the steps, I divided 4 by 2 and that “divide” appears as the second divide in the post immediately above here.
Exactly right. I had a two step solution and a couple of divides that weren’t part of the solution.
