I’ve had mango custard in cream at a Vietnamese restaurant. So gooooooood!!! :yum:

Not dessert . . .

But I’ve been to a restaurant that specialized in Cajun food . . . and had a “dish” that called a “Cajun Boil”. It’s charge is based on the number of people at the table.

It’s served by having the diners first lift up the edge of “butcher’s paper” that is covering the entire table (single sheet, BTW) to essentially create a “shallow bowl” . . . then the server will just dump the Boil across the table. Diners simply grab what interests them and is in reach.
