Had to look up part of #4 just to confirm; I was not familiar with that term.
#6 took me longer than it should have, considering all the French I took in school.

Correct. Yeah, I didn’t know #6. And I don’t believe I’ve ever heard the tooth decay term, although it was obvious what the word had to be from the coal mine part.

01/23/2022 Four-Color Problem

A bag contains 18 red marbles, 12 yellow marbles, 5 green marbles, and 2 blue marbles. What is the minimum number of marbles you need to draw from this bag (without looking) to ensure that you have drawn at least four marbles of the same color?

01/24/2022 Criss-Cross Math

Place the digits 1 to 9 into the empty cells so that the three rows across and three columns down form correct arithmetic statements. All calculations involve only positive whole numbers and should be performed from left to right and top to bottom, ignoring mathematical order of operations.

12
Up to 11, it’s possible to have some combination of 0-3 red, 0-3 yellow, 0-3 green, & 0-2 blue.
There’s no combination of 12 marbles that doesn’t have at least 4 of one of the colors red, yellow, or green

For 1/24, I don’t think they were totally clear. You can only use each of the numbers 1 through 9 once.
