With help from wife because I only knew 3 of the greens (knew connection, and 3 good fits. Guessed wrong about the fourth. Interestingly (and I had never noticed this situation before), I could have a guaranteed win today after my first 3 guesses. I knew 3 of guess 2, ABCD, were right. I used D in guess 3 which was right. So ABC were right. Try guess 4 ABEF. If 3, either ABCE or ABCF is right and have 2 strikes left. If not 3 of ABEF, then ABCG or ABCH is, and again I have 2 strikes left.

But consulting wife did it with no additional strikes.

Also sleep deprived in this one, which is why I associated Tom Brady with Buffalo in one of my guesses. But even with more sleep I think I still would have fallen for the bill of the cap trick, especially since I have no idea about any dart games.

Almost certainly would have gotten it on my own, but consulted wife after first two guesses. suggested rationale for purple as “double letters” but didn’t like it. Also suggested that the other group almost certainly included peroxide, baking soda and vinegar, and if that connection was cleaning related club soda would fit, and that would leave the double letters group intact. When she strengthened to “double vowels” I used it.

G and Y were easy enough, then it was a bunch of first names and some random team names for a sport that not many people watch. Crazy team names for sure, but then again I watched a minor league baseball team named the Yard Goats yesterday.
