Re: purple, thinking about different types of birthmarks is what broke it open for me. Being confident that those were the 4 in the category helped.

Moles aren’t technically birth marks. They are (at least usually) a benign tumor that develops later in life. I have a lot of moles, and the first one developed when i was a teenager. So that tripped me up a little, even after the reveal.
