First I hope everyone in this thing is safe.
No idea how much I got so far. I can’t look out the windows - the blow coated the house from all directions. New neighbor downstairs, young and fit, hopefully I’ll get some help for this one. No idea if he even has a shovel.

Safe here. Phila suburbs. They were calling for 12-18 inches. Accumulations look under 12 to me, but I haven’t been outside. I had a dental appt scheduled for 10. It’s canceled. I think I would have called anyway, but fortunately they notified us Saturday to call the office Monday morning before coming in. Good thing they gave that notification, since they send an automated reminder at 8 AM this morning to remind me to come in for the appointment. My wife had a doctor visit and a physical therapy visit scheduled for tomorrow. Both those were canceled by the providers yesterday (yes, on Sunday) and physical therapy was even rescheduled on Sunday for Wednesday. Adult daughter who lives with us is working from home today. Her entire office is. That operation typically has each person work from home twice a week, fixed days but varying by person. Mondays are normally in office for her. We lost power, only for a minute, around 10 pm.
I had one for 4:00. I texted my dentist yesterday to be sure.
No other reason to leave the house.

Just about 2 ft here in NJ and lost power. Sadly my snow blower works on a cord… alas after about an hour of shoveling my neighbor rescued me and we’re plowed out. Now hoping power comes back before it gets too cold.

I was a bit confused by the blizzard stuff, since it’s bright and sunny here. Spouse says the blizzard is eastern seaboard of the US, we’re not getting it - but @Fish_Actuary is likely to get hammered with it.
While they called it a blizzard, it didn’t really seem like the winds were that high here to me. But given there was rain first soaking the trees I think we might get some problems with tree limbs snapping off.
This one will be a bit of a non-event here. We had a different storm yesterday.
Only an inch or so here, school wasn’t canceled or delayed.
One of my team members was traveling to Orlando for the FAC today - fortunately they were able to change their flight to yesterday and made it out of the NE before the snow arrived! I bet a couple near-FSAs won’t be making it in time to this FAC, and I’m sure that’s really stressful for them!
That’s the amount we got a few weeks back! Shut down everything for about 3 days. I hope your city is better prepared.
I think so, the one we had a month ago was less, but incredibly cold for weeks after.

We got a foot in central CT. Plow guys came as it was ending, car cleared off. Shoveled the back deck. Not too heavy, but it was cold and windy, We had very strong winds last night.
