Annoyed Thoughts

I haven’t been earning cash back on my (Citi) credit card for about three or four months because I hit the limit of cash back earned. I’m annoyed that there’s a limit. I’m annoyed that I didn’t remember that. I’m annoyed that it took me three or four months to catch on.

It’s so fluffing annoying. Just treat me like the great customer that I am.

I’ve signed up for a BoA card with (supposed) unlimited cash back at approximately the same terms (for now, at least)…and a 15 mo 0% apr, so I might take advantage of that, too.

Citi’s going to lose out on a lot of cc transaction fees because of their dumb policy.

Stopped at Panera for a sandwich the other night: I think there has been major shrinkflation there. :unamused:

One part of the backyard patio is uncomfortable because it’s too windy.
The other part is uncomfortable because of too many flies.
The height of the dog and the strength/size of his tail is such that there is now a lake of coffee underneath my feet.
Wife informs me that glass is not accepted in our recycling bin. WTF? It’s the most recyclable substance there is and you don’t fluffing accept it?
And WTH does my phone suggest “strength” s/b replaced with “strenght”? It’s moranical.

Sounds like one part of the patio is too windy for both humans and flies.

I was a Panera regular for many years, I’ve all but stopped going. I think the quality has declined a bit, and prices are pretty crazy. I have local options that are cheaper and better.

Had box lunches catered from Panera last week. It was free so I have no complaints, but I won’t be going back anytime soon to be purchasing Panera.

Kind of sad, it was my default studying location in my exam days. I’d spend $15+ but I could stay for hours.

I was trying to get a folding table out of the car when I swung it into my right thigh just above the knee. It hurt good for a few seconds. Wah. :face_with_head_bandage:

mrs f was takling about a new phone. she has an iphone 11 or 12. but then I have to look at the promos and deals and…i am reminded that it is the one thing that gets me closest to being homicidal

Surprisingly, AT&T is looking to be the best deal…never woulda guessed it.

if I switch carriers I need all 4 phones on the plan to agree it works well for their usual locations in advance. we are verizon.

verizon has a “anyone, new or existing customer change any phone/any condition for an iphone16.” fine print i read tells me that will not work for me bc it means every line swaps to some much more expensive plan. every time i look into it all i get angrier. i kind of just want to have a monthly jitterbug old person phone I think

Yeah…I was all excited about the Tmob promo, but it only applies if you upgrade to their highest priced plan…about double what I’m paying now. :georgeisgettingupset!!!:

We were sitting on the couch watching TV with the front door open but the storm door closed. Someone opened up the storm door and threw eggs and balls of rice in the house, as well as at the door and front of the house. The eggs splattered everywhere, including hitting us. A week ago at the same time, someone pounded our front door, but nothing was amiss afterwards. (My son was home alone that time.) My guess is someone is targeting my high school kid. It must have been a slow night for the police, because they arrived within minutes of calling the non-emergency line. It was not a fun cleanup.

OMG!!!

I’m so sorry, that’s awful.

We were just discussing this all in the iPhone thread… is the iPhone discount really worth the homicidal anger?

Happiness and freedom await you if you are willing to give up a few fancy photos the first few days with your new phones.

Someone just quoted me $33k to paint the exterior of my house. With a straight face.
