Lather, rinse, repeat would be an improvement over the identical icky mess I came home to today. It wouldn’t be so bad if they’d actually emptied the cans, but they don’t.

Mildly annoyed thought. Everyone loves my fries, but they take a good part of a day to prep. I get called on to do fries numerous times in a year whenever we have family gatherings.
That’s kind of progressed to family “we’re having a party, you coming? Also, can you do fries at 11pm for about 50 people”? OK, it means I have to stay sober til 11 while the whole barnyard is rocking, then cook for 30-40 minutes then clean up, but, it’s generally a helluva party.
Now it’s progressed to “we’re having the other side of the family over, can you prep fries for 25 people before next weekend for us?”.
I don’t mind the idea, the fries are really good, great at family gatherings. It’s more just that now I’m spending my Saturday afternoon cooking instead of homework.
Actually, maybe some vengeance. Maybe next weekend I just show up at their place for some fries.

For everyone that takes some fries they have to do one part of your homework. What could possibly go wrong???

That’s way too close to home. I’m waiting to submit an assignment because the last question was ‘which of these four scenarios is preferable’, and I got all four of them equally - non preferred over the others. I can rationalize it, and maybe the point was that all four options are supposed to be preferred, but I’m just mildly suspicoius. I’ll sleep on it for a day, run the numbers again and if nothing new comes out, I’ll submit my a=b=c=d=Syntax error anser.

I want a new mattress but that involves shopping for a new mattress.
If you’re within a reasonable distance of old mattress factory I highly recommend them.
I meant to check the make and model of the mattress at a hotel I recently stayed at. It was pretty comfortable. I tend to sleep on my side or stomach, although sometimes on my back. Spouse is a side or back sleeper.
I haven’t bought a mattress in a while. Do the companies still do that annoying thing of having different names and model numbers from store to store so that you can’t do any easy comparison or price shopping?

We like our Saatva. I think it is a hybrid design. The wife did the research so I can ask for details or look at the receipt if anyone is interested.
I think a plush heavenly bed from Westin would probably be my first choice if I wanted to drop $3-4k on a mattress.
The line at Target is about 30 people deep.
As much as I hate dealing with incompetent employees at Panera, I’m glad I ate before coming to Target or I’d probably turned around and walked out.

There’s an awesome store by me called American Science & Surplus. They’ve got tons of great weird stuff, but also have many sizes of cheap Chinese batteries. You can typically get about 20 batteries for the price of one Energizer. Or I use Ebay if it’s a size AS&S doesn’t carry.

Watched 2 seconds of some influencer tiktok this morning. Wondered why anybody post the minutea of their lives out to everybody like that.
Then I realized, like half my post on this forum are pretty much the same thing. That ain’t right.
