Yeah, I did have to spell “jicama”!
Old people at the doctor’s office typing on their phone with the sound effects.
Why would anyone want typing keystrokes sound on their phone?
People with reduced visual acuity might like the additional feedback that a key has been hit.
Might be been the default at one point as well? I think my old BlackBerry did this.
Unclear on exactly what the motive was, but some jackass at my son’s school walked up behind him in a stairwell and slapped him. Got a call around 11AM from the school and I drove down to talk with the vice principal. Thankfully, my son didn’t retaliate, and it was caught on camera, so that little punk got sent home for three days. I hope one of his parents has to take three days of PTO for this.
Did your son make light of his SO’s alopecia?
Working through the tax returns: I’ve whittled the payable down some, but we still owe a chunk of cash.
[Looks at calendar (yup, it’s past 04/15)]…[googles “when are canadian taxes due”]…ah…good luck at being poor.
Payable in CDN, not 'Murican.
I missed the RRSP deadline for 2021, so I plan to make a big contribution later this year or by Feb 28, 2023 for the 2022 tax year.
iPhones default to it, I think.
I forgot about some dough I had proofing: it went over the sides of the loaf pan and I had to do a bit of cleanup!
Don’t have a Corollary! Lemma help you clean that up that Proof.
Stoopid grass pollen.
teenage girls are just freaking horrible people.
My burps taste like broccoli.
I thought I’d try growing seedlings this year. The first crop died, not sure why. Overwatering, not enough light, no idea. Replanted, things were going OK. We had a bright sunny day, so I put them out on the deck. Second round of seedlings died as a result of that. Again, no idea why.
Looks like I’m buying seedlings again this year.
Quite the brown thumb you got there, SL.
I’m learning. Every year’s a bit better.
I grew all my own beets for the beet pickles I do every year, and the year prior I grew all my own cuce’s for the dill pickles I do. This year gonna try some roma tomatoes and SO will brew up some sauces. Hopefully.
I tried growing garlic and onions twice. Fail both times. Same with spinach, I ended up with some type of grub and had to throw it all out.
I also have no idea why, but I will relay the story that my wife has a Christmas cactus. When that thing’s blooming moving it will cause it to drop its buds…according to my wife. I don’t know a thing.
