That was not what I was referring to but yeah, that too.

and again last night, but for two hours (I assume, based on the text message for expected restoration of power, I went to sleep)
my spouse reset the coffee machine clock, so I didn’t have to do that before making coffee this morning (they also set it to auto-brew, so I didn’t even have to make it this morning… cross post to Happy Thoughts!)
We had a power blip yesterday that either only affected one outlet or else my crockpot went crazy. I set it on high for 6 hours and it normally goes to warm automatically after that. When I got home the crockpot lights were blinking which means it lost power. But the stove clock wasn’t blinking and the kid, home all day, never noticed anything. (I questioned eating the chicken but just heated it up and hoped for the best. We’re kinda reckless around here. It was apparently fully cooked before the crock pot turned off.)
I washed it and it still smells strongly of whatever they use for laundry.
throw it away
Naw, just rinse it in white vinegar.
Or at least give it away, don’t throw it away.
If it’s not a Red Sox/Cowboys/Flyers/Celtics/Arsenal/Red Bulls jersey, just throw it away. Or, better yet, burn it.
I washed it again. It’s a little less bad. Maybe I should hang it outside.
Let the dog borrow it for a week
Excellent candidate for “Out of context words of wisdom” thread.
Additionally, organic valley supports small farms whereas horizon (owned by Danone) does not.
That’s one of the things I like about it. Also, its organic milk looks like organic grass-fed milk when it’s assayed, and Horizon’s doesn’t (per some report I read a long time ago, which is probably still true.)
But I also happen to think it tastes very good.
We got snow overnight. Lousy Smarch weather.
Just ran out of memory while running a job. The auto-admin not only killed my job but wiped out my work library. Now I need to spend an hour running code to restore my data.
I’m doing a ‘60 seconds…and GO!’ video. 50 seconds into what I thought was the final cut, my kid turns on the shower that’s on the wall behind me. There goes the audio.
Oh well, one more take is always a good idea.
I’m at home trying to download my e-mail and I keep getting an error. After I turned off the VPN, everything worked fine. ![]()
Got an açaí bowl. Why do they hide bananas in there? Yuck.
I have all sorts of issues when I’m running a VPN. Thus, i dropped my service after the Olympics ended.
I’ve got a VPN to my servers. Doesn’t do a bit of good for getting anything since the servers are in Canada as well.
It’d be.nice if I had servers in the us I could piggy back off of. American Netflix has stuff that’s not available in Canada.
