Yeah, I’m talking to the woman here who has no fortune.
THAT’S RIGHT, I WENT THERE.

What year did you start the export, Mr Hoffman?
I think he likes to be addressed as Herr Hoffman.

I have a bunch of tramadol left over from when our dog was in the doggie hospital. Just saying.
Updating the grocery list. “Have we got any grapes?” Now I have that stupid duck song in my head.
“Hey! You got any duck tape?”
@IPD , is it too late to change my entry for this week?
I think we’ll have an earworm category at some point

I posted on Facebook about how I think I’m going to change up my hair color (I’ve had it a pretty bright red since I transitioned last summer) but without the photo that is my inspiration for the idea, and my aunt felt the need to comment “I hope you tone it down.” Like, WTF? No, that’s not the plan — I enjoy having interesting hair color.
Some old fuddy-duddies (like me) prefer natural-looking hair.
In my case I’m old enough to have the preference, but young enough to recognize that it’s my preference and others can make different choices.
My hair has been various shades of pink and orange for the last year and a half. Lots of people tell me I should change it, in subtle ways (don’t you care about what senior leadership thinks about you? Don’t you want to be taken seriously?), but mostly people think it’s pretty neat to do something so bold in an industry where asses are so uptight, management lays diamonds like they’re eggs. I was pleasantly surprised by the reception.
The current color exists in nature, though not a high percentage of people to be sure.
The planned new look — not so much.
I’m a fuddy duddy when it comes to my own hair color, but when my daughter came home with bright blue hair I loved it more than I expected to. Since then I’ve found myself more appreciative of the various bright colors that seem so fashionable.
Yeah, my SIL has crazy hair colors >50% of the time and it usually looks nice on her and suits her personality.
It’s hair. It grows back. Do shit, and if you don’t like it, wait.
I had a blonde mohawk in school. Gf’s mother was not impressed lol.
I’ve worn my hair short for decades. During lockdown I tried going bald. Didn’t like that, so I tried a couple different lengths. Settled in 5mm clippers. It’s a drastic change in my appearance along with a beard but whatever. It’s easy to maintain which is most of what I care about and my so likes it fine
If I wanted red, it’d be red tomorrow. Because whatever.
I dyed my hair a color not found in nature, and the first two times I visited my mom after that, she made a point of telling me she doesn’t like it, and asking how long it will last. I just told her that I liked it.
(But it won’t last. I did it on vacation, for fun. But it’s too much work to keep it up, and I’m not going to do that.)
I wish I could color my hair.
