I broke into a bag of Skittles for “incentives.” Thankfully I don’t have strong feelings on Skittles. I did find an open bag of Reese’s peanut butter cups stuffed in the back of the cabinet tho. ---

Yes, I’m flavorist when it comes to Skittles. I eat only one color at a time. First lime (as the most inferior Skittle flavor), then lemon then orange and finally cherry and grape. I will sometimes mix it up whether I finish with cherry or grape. Probably more often cherry before grape but that’s more because then I’m moving through the colors in color-wheel order than an actual preference of flavors. ---

Isn’t lime apple now? Toss the lemon, toss the lime/apple. Usually toss the orange, too. Cherry and grape can be eaten together, or separately. ---

By the way, when my Dad & his siblings were kids the tradition was that Santa Claus left each of them a book\* of Life Savers in their stocking. Apparently the Christmas morning trading that occurred was epic. The only sibling who liked Buttered Rum really made out, evidently. \*I think it contained 12 different 12-packs of Life Savers, all the packs were different. Like a pack of 5-flavor, a pack of Wint-O-green, a pack of Pep-O-Mint, etc. ---

Yeah, when I was a kid my grandparents would get me a book of Life Savers each Christmas, trying to keep the tradition alive. But it was only an 8-pack and I think was: 2 five-flavors 2 Wint-O-Green 1 Spear-O-Mint 1 Pep-O-Mint 1 Buttered Rum 1 Wild Cherry There were always comments that this wasn’t as good as the “real” life savers books from the 1950s. I guess now the selection is even worse. ---
