Yes, the opioid epidemic is very real and the OD risk on drugs with unknown dosages of fentanyl is very high.
The WMD argument is a somewhat disturbing change as that’s been used as pretext for US invasion before.

Any organisation that needs a major Govt decision will end up having to pay if even remotely connected to Trump.
Trump has been successful on getting other countries to increase their military spending. Kudos to him for that. However he probably figured it would result in an increase in business for the US military industry. Will probably turn out to be the opposite.
Germany is increasing defense spending. I think that was an intended consequence of Trump’s actions. He basically said let Europe take care of themselves (with respect to Russia).
Nothing could go wrong there.

I’m dreading what happens when my wife’s disability case comes up for review again.
Getting her approved in the first place and the first review was miserable. Subsequent reviews have been essentially two notices in the mail (mentioning that she’s up for review, and then mentioning that no action is required).

Hitler considered himself an Aryan and would never have admitted to homosexuality. I don’t think they were forcing all Aryans to be blonde, although (from my Jewish grandfather-in-law’s experience), it didn’t hurt to be blond and blue-eyed, certainly made it easier to escape death.

Yep. I have a disabled grandson and I wonder how long he will be able to hold onto his benefits.
A French scientist traveling to attend a conference in Houston was denied entry to the US. They did random checks of his computer and phone, and saw texts to his friends that were critical of Trump cuts to science spending. That was enough to deny entry, seize his personal and professional equipment, and send him home.
