Preventing sickness is probably easier and a more efficacious use of tax dollars. If you care about the people paying the taxes, that is.
Otherwise, everyone should test their raw milk for hazards themselves. That saves government expense. Same as people hauling their own trash to the dump instead of a public service doing it.

Bit of a non-story. There are 1.3 million campylobacter infections (76 deaths) in the US each year. If it was E Coli that would be much worse.

I can’t imagine what the conversations at home must be like for people who get cervical cancer despite being young enough to have been eligible for the HPV vaccine and didn’t get it b/c of parents.
