I mean, I just remember that being a talking point, not saying it was my talking point. (It never registered much on my radar just because regardless it didn’t seem like a big deal to begin with.) I was just pointing out MAGA hypocrisy to call out the hypocrisy of the one but not the other.
But if the bike thing is fake to begin with, then that’s an even worse look for the MAGA crowd.
You should probably make that your default setting going forward. There is always more to the story than the cartoonish version you get from Fox and their ilk. Happens on the other side too, but not even close to the frequency or severity.
My default is to just hate everybody in advance. 
Perhaps being a better citizen does entail giving people a fair but earned chance to be unhated, though.
