I’m thinking about the definition of detachable, distinguishing between “ability to detach” vs “detachable parts as part of it’s typical use.” Like a skateboard has technically detachable parts (wheels, trucks), but you don’t really detach anything unless you’re fixing it or replacing parts.
Unofficial: surfboard, paddleboard, oar, snowshoes, baseball bat
We could ask if it’s sports related.
Maybe ask about its mobility power source, such as human, electricity, etc?
Hmmm…
Good guess, but I think that contradicts both of these…
…at least when it comes to my paper airplanes.
I flew paper airplanes mostly at school or outside.
I grew up in WI/MN …our rocket boosters would freeze if we flew ours outside.
Paper airplane I would think is not common. But could easily indoor or outdoor. Kite would work for outside though.
I think the idea to ask its sports related or maybe a toy. I don’t know.
Is it sports-related?

What do y’all think of baseball bat?
Sometimes wood, sometimes aluminum.
But I suppose any number of balls might also fit that bill: sometimes leather, sometimes synthetic.
Baseball season recently started though, so for that reason I kinda like something related to baseball.
I was thinking baseball bat last night, too. But i don’t think we’ve ruled out surfboard, paddle board, oar, or snowshoes. Or skis, golf clubs, canoe/kayak paddle or a lot of other sporting gear.
Maybe you wear snowshoes and skis.
Would a baseball bat be a tool though?
I wouldn’t call it a tool. About all you can do with it is hit a ball or beat the crap out of someone (which is true of any blunt object).
Is it primarily used for winter sports?

This sport is not in the winter olympics nor primarily deals with snow, which is how I would define a “winter sport”.
Sure, I wouldn’t quibble over whether we define basketball as a winter sport (high school and college) or a summer sport (Olympics).
Would you be able to throw it more than 20 yards?
