Don’t mind me. I’m just sitting here humming, “Glory, glory, Man United”.

Kalshi is probably going to start taking bets on how many points deductions they are going to get hit with, because I really can’t see how they dodge this one.

Personally…I do think this is a relegation level offense, but thats never going to happen due to politics.

I suggest calculating the average difference between their points totals and 10th place in the EPL over the years that they did this.
Then apply that to each year for the number of years they did this.
They are not likely to win the EPL or qualify for UCL for several years, but they will be able to win the FA Cup and/or the EFL Cup and play in Europe and win Europa or Europa Conference and get back to the UCL that way. If they can keep players that is.

There is simply no way they are getting out of this one.

These are huge infractions. Spanning many years.

Relegation odds for City are currently 37% from what I have seen.

Very interesting that they showed an increasing trend that just stopped in 2018 /s

Who will be the bargains in the fire sale? Need Liverpool to get Guèhi and maybe O’Reilly.

No way 75% of team stays if relegated. If they do, they will set points and goals record in championship.

Real Madrid will go after Haaland if they get relegated.

But I just dont see this happening.

Burnham is PM now…and he was the mayor of Manchester while this was happening. Manchester will take a big reputational hit if Man City is relegated.

He will get involved to soften the blow on Man City. Big points deduction is my guess (its totally unfair of course given how long they broke the rules for. It is not a one off at all).

I agree. Should make them suffer for as many years as they benefitted.

Noted:

Heck, I thought the coach walked in to the owner’s office every morning with a biscuit.

Nothing, huh?

Anyway, happy to see that ALL TEN of the matches this weekend were in my “library.” Not sure what Peacock is good for. there is a “NBC Sports Network” channel on my YouTubeTV. Some matches might be delayed or shortened for time or something.

MUN?
[https://www.espn.com/soccer/story/\_/id/50249518/man-united-mess-blame-michael-carrick-players-jim-ratcliffe-bruno-fernandes-glazers](https://www.espn.com/soccer/story/_/id/50249518/man-united-mess-blame-michael-carrick-players-jim-ratcliffe-bruno-fernandes-glazers)
Who’s to blame? This article puts some numbers down.
I’m gonna put it mainly on Glazer/Ratcliffe and the executives.
They research and approve the players coming in. If those players are shit, they probably didn’t turn to shit overnight. Owners/Executives got played, simple as that, cuz they don’t know what they’re doing.
The also run the academy, where the real wealth (no-transfer-fee players) is. Also a lot of upfront cost for possibly no future return.
Carrick and Players should get no more than 5% for not staying as fit (and keeping them as fit) as they were assumed to be.
