Not anymore you don’t…
Capobianco and Peter were escorted out of Yankee Stadium but said they were told they would be allowed back for Game 5 on Wednesday. The Yankees did not immediately respond to ESPN’s request for comment regarding if that was indeed the case.
“I know when I’m in the wrong and as soon as I did it, I was like, ‘Boys I’m out of here,’” Capobianco told ESPN. “I patrol that wall and they know that.”
Maybe, maybe not.
Or, maybe:
They’ll probably throw out the ceremonial first pitch, then given a parade down 5th Avenue.
not nearly enough
Players Union needs to speak up here. NYY statement has the right words, but a single game ban is not a strong punishment. Banning the resale of the seats would be another appropriate initial step.
Since it said they were refunding the ticket price for the tickets, I would assume that the Yankees were taking the tickets back and they could sell them. Either that or the seats would be vacant for the game. I wouldn’t expect they ticket holders could get a refund for their tickets and still be able to sell them. I read that the MLB seemed to pressure the NYY into banning the fans from the next game. But I agree with a lot of others who think they should be banned for life from all MLB stadiums.
But I agree the MLBPA should come out with a statement.
Another reason to not like the Yankees. Looking forward to seeing their drought extend at least another year.
Weren’t Dodger fans just throwing things at the Padres two weeks ago? I’m pretty sure idiots go to every MLB stadium. Sometimes they just get the opportunity to be idiots on National TV.
I didn’t say I liked the Dodgers -
And don’t forget about the time that a few black players who said they would not play in Boston because of the racist fans
Rob Gronkowski says he went to college with Yankees fan who interfered with Mookie Betts
Kinda random
“I think it’s truly unacceptable, that act of behavior,” Gronkowski said. “…But when you’re that big of a fan, that’s what fans do.”
Not sure that make a lot of sense Gronk.
I heard Austin is upset because the NYY won’t let his friends or family use his tickets to tonight’s game. poor guy.
If they let him back in, it would be funny if they installed a net right in front of his seats.
Another story says the NYY are giving the tickets to a pediatric cancer patient and his family. With the fact that the surrounding seats are probably the guys friends and family, I’m not sure I’d want to sit there even if given the seats.
I don’t think an asshole like that would have friends
Does Peter, the other guy that got kicked out with him, or Gronk, count?
Peter is an accomplice, and Gronk will call anyone a friend. So, no.
That 5th inning was one of the most wild innings I have ever seen. If the Yankees lose they will never stop thinking of it.
Buehler… Buehler… Buehler…
“Yankees Lose!!! Theeeeeeeeeeee… YANKEES!!! LOSE!!!”
