All the businesses supporting the Lakers, all the opportunities in the Los Angeles metro area to be in advertisements schlepping products and services, … how will he ever make that up?
I know, right?
R.I.P. Luka
My run of bad jersey luck is epic.
First time I wore my David Wright jersey he pulled his hamstring, sat out the season, and his back injury kicked in the next year.
I got my Jason Kidd Nets jersey the year before he moved to Phoenix.
Bought a jersey for a Red Sox game as a kid because we got front row seats behind the plate for ESPN’s game of the week and I wanted to be on TV… player was traded three days later.
First and only hockey jersey I ever bought was Rick DiPietro from the Islanders because they locked him up for 15 years… I only saw him play live once.
And to show it’s genetic… I bought my son an RJ Barrett Knicks jersey last Christmas (traded by New Years). His brother was jealous so we got him a Divincenzo jersey when they made the playoffs last year.
Good point… if there’s anything we know about Luka, it’s that he likes to put in the extra time and energy to maximize his potential.
Come mlb season, could I sponsor a few jerseys for you to wear?
Arby - that is…awesome!
I am curious to hear from him how he thinks the NBA should look like. At will employment?
Too bad every player in the NBA signs a contract that states the team can do that, AND that the player gets paid. (No-Trade clauses excepted, of course.)
Let me check my history books on slavery…
I would like to sign up for this modern day slavery.
Is he also upset that he has to work the evening shift?
Yes because being whipped because you’re not picking cotton fast enough in the hot sun for 12 hours a day is just like having to play half your games in a different city for $12.75M a year is exactly the same Dennis.
I guess the dude had a premonition or maybe karma.
BREAKING: The Miami Heat are finalizing a deal to send Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors for Andrew Wiggins, Dennis Schroder, Kyle Anderson and a protected first-round pick, sources tell Shams Charania.
Golden State to Kevin Durant: “we’d like for you to come back and play here.”
Kevin Durant to Golden State: “drop dead.”
Apparently he thought the fans were mean to him because they love Steph more.
Waah, Raptors miffed at slam dunk…
“I think what Tristan did there was no class and disrespectful,” Rajakovic said. “I’m not going to stand for that, for sure. I love when my team stands up for themselves. That was no class.”
Do you love it when your team doesn’t play well enough to prevent a 20-point win? No need to answer, bro, just think about it to yourself.
It is so important that the OTHER team is classy when beating us by 20 points.
