When I did this he was healthy!!! Blah this is the second time this happened to me. First Josh Jacobs and now this.

I thought that was a riskier strategy than mine.
I tried to do it slyly, to not lead others on and bury you too much…Definitely picked a RB though that I wouldn’t normally pick. 1 point from Davis is good enough for me.
I did this on Wednesday. He was still healthy then.
Very frustrating we can’t change picks when this happens.
It’s like picking a guy Thursday morning then him tearing his ALC Thursday afternoon. Just one of the quirks of the game.
And then everyone price is right’s you.
That could be why I’m no longer in this game…
I have no shame in price is righting people. It comes with the risk of forgetting to submit when I wait til Friday, but worth it in my mind.

Montgomery got injured during last week’s game. At first they thought it was an ACL. On 10/4 there were reports that they didn’t think it was an ACL (good news), but that he would likely still miss a couple of weeks. On 10/5 it was announced he would miss 4-5 weeks.
That’s fair. All I did was look at Yahoo fantasy news. And it said he was healthy…
I guess I should use Google instead.
Ah. If you’re looking at injury designations on the fantasy site, that could be the issue. I don’t know these details for sure, but I think teams announce injury designations like twice or three times a week (maybe on Wednesday and then on Sunday or something? It might be more. So if early enough in the week perhaps they hadn’t announced their designations yet.
Well Cook is out this week too, so we have a few 0RB teams
