15 Questions

Playing from this side I think is going to be interesting too, because I’m trying to decipher along with the guesses how to guess next, even though I know the number.

  1. (John.S.Mill) 13579 A1,B1
  2. (soyleche) 23478 A0,B3

I would hate to play with colors, that would get me all kinds of messed up, I think.

Nah the red markers mean you got the color right, it’s in the right spot, AND where that spot is. Slightly more forgiving rules.

White being it’s the right color, but in the wrong spot.

I would suggest altering the format of the report out from A: # B: # to simply A:B (just use the numbers).

Whatever will we do with all that time saved though!?

I’ll leave it up to the person in charge.

If I was really interested in making formatting nicer, I’d have figured out columns, etc, because more than the format (which I already lazied up from John’s nicer version), the length of the line (really placement of the A#B#) bothers me. I guess if we put the name of the guesser at the end, the alignment wouldn’t be so bad.

Changing that to see:

  1. 13579 A1,B1 (John.S.Mill)
  2. 23478 A0,B3 (soyleche)
  3. 13468 A1,B2 (John.S.Mill)
  4. 12685 A1,B2 (Kerfluffles)

Ooh, yeah, I’ll change to that. That’s nicer to look at.

  1. Guess A:B (guesser)
  2. 13579 1:1 (John.S.Mill)
  3. 23478 0:3 (soyleche)
  4. 13468 1:2 (John.S.Mill)
  5. 12685 1:2 (Kerfluffles)

That’s not terrible (but I definitely need line zero).
