I would score a guess of 12345 on an answer of 31415 as 1:3:1.
I would score a guess of 123456 on an answer of 314153 as 1:3:2.
I wrote it out differently, but @Kat987 has it.
x represents the # of digits guessed which are repeated in the answer. There is no information as to how many times the digits repeat (because apart from making you all guess at the rules, I didn’t think that adding the x would increase the difficulty enough to get us to 15).
Example with differing numbers of repeated digits:
If the number was 771997 and someone guessed 197, I would score that as 0:3:3.
So repeating digits/guessing the meaning of “:x” killed the interest in the game. Should I go back to the previous set of rules so people play again?
I think it’s because this game is numerical, which means we’re just acting like a computer.
We need to change the game up so that it requires a human element to it so that it can be fun.
